Parent & Me: 6–12 Months

The first year of your baby’s life is filled with incredible growth and discovery. Cassidy Preschool’s 6–12 Month Parent & Me Class offers a welcoming space where babies and caregivers learn together through guided play, movement, music, and meaningful connection.

Designed specifically for infants 6 to 12 months of age, this weekly class encourages curiosity while supporting the important developmental milestones taking place during this exciting stage. As babies begin sitting, crawling, exploring, communicating, and engaging with the world around them, each session provides age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, physical, language, and social-emotional development.

Parents and caregivers participate alongside their child, creating opportunities to strengthen attachment while learning practical strategies that can be carried into everyday routines at home.

Beyond playtime, each class includes thoughtful discussions led by Jaclyn Epstein, M.A., LMFT, an experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in early childhood development. Parents receive professional guidance on common topics including communication, sleep, routines, emotional development, separation, and navigating the joys and challenges of the first year.

Families also benefit from connecting with others experiencing similar milestones, creating a supportive community that often extends well beyond the classroom.
